Boxing for Breakfast
We Launched Allstars Boxing Breakfast Club at Bridgemere CE Primary School in 2022 after some taster sessions with the children and staff.
With no space in the timetable available for an after-school club, the school decided on a breakfast club for Key stage 2.
With a 7.45am start, the children get an active start to their day with a non-contact boxing session delivered by the Allstars team.
The key stage 2 sessions proved so successful that the decision was taken to extend to an extra morning for the key stage 1 children.
"All the Children have developed a love of boxing from the fun sessions delivered by coach Colin. The sessions are always well planned and delivered in an exciting and inspiring way to keep engagement and motivation high. The children in both key stage 1 & 2 have loved the morning boxing clubs to kickstart their day" Teacher & PE Coordinator , Mr Lyons said.
